What payment methods can I use?

We accept all major credit cards and Paypal via our website.

What is your returns policy?

You have 14 days from the point of sale to notify us that you would like to return your wrap to us.  The wraps should be returned within 28 days along with the branded rucksack bag, the Product Registration Card and brochure provided and should not be washed or in a used state. Returns should be marked ‘returns’ and sent to 17 Finch Road, Reading, RG6 7JX.  Please ensure you retain proof of postage. On inspection and approval from Jacq and Rose, a full refund will then be paid (minus the return postage costs) into the same account and by the same means as which the original purchase was made.

Ring Slings are custom-made products and as such, are non-cancelable and non-returnable.  In the case where a custom product is defective, Jacq and Rose will fix, replace or issue a refund at its discretion.

Jacq and Rose’s return policy does not cover ordinary wear and tear or damage caused by improper use or accidents.

Can I change my delivery address?

Once payment has been processed we are unable to change the shipping address. Please ensure that the correct address is inputted during the checkout process or on your Paypal account.

How quickly will my purchase be shipped?

We will endeavour to ship your purchase on the next working day (Monday – Friday).  You will be notified if there are any delays or unforeseen issues.

How are the products packaged?

All products are packaged in acid-free tissue paper.  This is to protect your wrap in case the outer postage bag is ripped during shipping.  Wraps are also placed inside the J&R bag to provide a further layer of protection.  In the event that the packaging is damaged when you receive the wrap, please ensure that you take photos to provide as evidence to Royal Mail.

How do I use my wrap?

Before use, always check your wrap for any signs of wear or damage and do not use if you find any.  Always ensure that you read the guide that is supplied with your wrap.  If in any doubt seek help from a qualified babywearing consultant or attend a local sling meet.  You can search for your local sling meet by clicking here.

What size should I buy?

Wraps come in a range of lengths and sizes.  We suggest that if you are unsure what size to buy that you initially buy a wrap in your ‘base’ size so that you can practise a basic carry such as Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC).  To determine your which size of wrap you need, please take a look at the table below:

How do I do a Front Wrap Cross Carry (FWCC)?

Please refer to the brochure which is enclosed within your wrap for full details on how to use your wrap or click here.

What are the benefits of using a woven wrap?

There are lots of benefits to using a woven wrap.  A wrap can be used from birth* right up to pre-school age.  A wrap is not child or carer specific and can be used in a number of ways either on the front, side and back. Using a woven wrap to keep your child close will promote bonding, reduce crying, it will free up your hands so you can do other things and it has been shown that babies that are carried are more able to adjust to their life outside of the womb in the 4th trimester.

Studies show that babies that are carried spend more time in the ‘quiet alert’ state that enables learning as they can interact and take in their surroundings.  The close contact with parents increases oxytocin levels (the love hormone) and this promotes bonding with your baby.  Increased oxytocin levels also lead to improved breastfeeding rates as oxytocin is the hormone responsible for milk ‘letdown’.

Holding your baby close means that you can learn to recognise your baby’s cues, be more responsive to their needs and the movement whilst carrying your baby improves your baby’s vestibular system (sense of balance).  Plus babies also adjust their position in the sling as you move, exercising their developing muscles, which in turn builds core strength. While at eye level your baby will feel included in your conversations and they will learn to recognise facial expressions, changes in the tone of your voice and body language all of which are key to speech and optimal brain development.

*Jacq and Rose wraps are only suitable for babies weighing 8 – 35lbs.

Do I need to wash my wrap?

All Jacq and Rose wraps come pre-washed and ready to use.  This means you can use your wrap as soon as it arrives.  We do recommend that you wash your wrap to further set the fibres and to remove any dirt it may have picked up during the hemming process.  When you are ready to wash your wrap you may notice some further shrinkage.  Please do not be concerned as your wrap has been cut slightly longer to allow for this.

What are the washing and ironing instructions?

Please follow the washing and ironing instructions that are on your care label which is attached to your wrap.  Take care to follow them carefully as failure to do so may damage your wrap.

Can I tumble dry my wrap?

We advised that you do not tumble dry your wrap.  This is to ensure the longevity of your wrap and to limit the excessive impact that tumble dryers have on the environment.

How should I store my wrap?

Make sure that you store your wrap out of sunlight, away from a source of heat and don’t leave wraps for long periods of time folded up as this can cause permanent creases to form in the fabric.

Can I be a tester?

We are always keen to hear your views of our testers.  If you are interested in testing for Jacq and Rose, please fill out the application form which can be found here.  Please note that not everyone will be successful.  We also try to ensure that there are enough testers travelling the country so that you may be able to try one at your local sling meet.

Do you need any more models?

We are initially using babywearers from our local area as models for our products.  We do plan to use models from around the country and overseas in the future to ensure that we have a wide diversity of models for our brand. We will let you know when we are looking for models through our Facebook page.

Do you have a chatter group?

Yes, we have a very active chatter group on Facebook where you can buy, sell and review wraps by Jacq and Rose.  If you wish to join the Jacq and Rose chatter group, please click here.

Do you run any discounts for libraries or consultants?

At the moment we don’t, however, we fully support the work that the sling libraries and consultants do so we hope to run something in the future.  We also are looking into ways to fund training as part of our company’s objectives to make babywearing more mainstream. More details to follow on this soon.
