February was a busy month for Jacq and Rose. We have been visiting various sling meets around the South of the country so people can try out our wraps and learn more about our new company.
Our first meet on the 14th of February was at the Hampton Court/ Kingston Sling Meet at the secret garden play cafe in Kingston. As it was Valentine’s day it tied in nicely with our first preview of the new colourway, Okenia Rose. Everyone was lusting over the vibrant pink wrap and we had lots of willing testers! Everyone at Hampton Court made us feel very welcome and we enjoyed ourselves very much. For more details of their next event click here.

Our next outing was to the ‘Crazy Little Sling’ meet in Oxford on the 16th of February. Oxford has a very active sling library but this was the first time a woven wrap sling social had been arranged. Lots of people turned up for the event and there were a variety of wraps to play with. We enjoyed demoing some new carries to first-time babywearers and geeking over all of the wraps that were there. We especially enjoyed the tea and cake that was on offer too! Thanks again for letting us come and we wish you well for future meets wrap meets. For more details of their next event click here.
Lastly, we joined the Basingstoke woven sling social on the 23rd of February. Again, this was a new sling meet specifically for wovens and we were delighted to join them for the launch. It was nice to be able to showcase our wraps and lots of people were interested to hear about the different types of weaves and designs we have available. Again, we did lots of wrap demonstrations mainly to new babywearers so we were focusing on Front Wrap Cross Carries (FWCC). We also helped one of the peer supporters work on her back carry (a Ruck) and suggested some new fancy finishes for a Double Hammock (DH). We wish them well for the next meet!
